Technobabble

One important but often overlooked responsibility of a Digital Producer at an agency is to make sure colleagues on the creative team understand technical capabilities so that they’re always pushing the envelope for what’s possible as a part of any campaign. While I hosted training classes and was always available to bounce ideas off of, I’d regularly glance at my notebook full of ideas at the end of the week and wonder to myself, “How can I fit these concepts into a pitch?” While meeting about the company’s quarterly newsletter, it dawned on me: I could simply send these notes out to the team as a newsletter and allow the staff to read and learn more about emerging tech. This grew to be a bi-monthly newsletter that I sent to the entire office, Technobabble.
