Adding a Marketer

To add a Marketer, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. When you're in, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the marketers section by clicking the Marketer button and then clicking Add Marketer.
  2. Once there, add the name, country, and company you wish for the marketer's information to be stored in:

  1. Click Save, and you'll be taken to a secondary detail screen for your Marketer. From here you want to enter as much information as possible.
    *When it comes to the latitude and longitute, I found it is easiest to use an online service such as latlong.net when the data is not supplied.

  1. Once you are done, click Save Marketer, and you're finished!

Editing an Existing Marketer

To edit an existing Marketer, you will first want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Marketers section by clicking the Marketer button.
  2. From there, search for your Marketer by name within the Search Criteria Box.
    Be sure that you're searching within the correct brand.

  1. When you find the Marketer you wish to edit, simply click the pencil icon, , to the left of that Marketer.
  2. This will bring up the Marketer detail screen. From here, update the stored information and click Save Marketer, and you're finished!

Adding a Product

To add a product, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Product section by clicking the Product Inventory button and then clicking Add New Product.
  2. Once there, add the product name, slug (URL), and brand you wish for the product information to be stored in. Then click Save.

  1. This will bring up the product detail screen. From here, you must update the information in each of the product tabs.

Product Example

  1. Description
    • Headline - This will be the headline displayed in the hero area of the page.
    • Sub Header - This is the sub header text displayed in the right margin of the page.
    • SDS Number - Adding the SDS number will automatically add a link to the safety data sheet.
    • Content - This information can be taken from the first paragraph of the data sheet. Please remember to wrap the text in paragraph tags.
      *The addition of a content editor is an enhancement that we have scoped out for later delivery

    • Licenses - This information can be taken from the applications section of the data sheet. Please remember to wrap the text in both paragraph tags and unordered (bulleted) list tags.

  1. The Details tab allows for spec data to be easily added within the system. Content is add here as follows:
    • Create a Specification by clicking on the Create Specification button. This is required to proceed. Generally this text should match the spec groupings in your table, such as oil weights. When dont, click add.

    Tech Details

    • Edit your Specification adding the line item from the left column and the associated values only from the that matches the spec grouping on the data sheet.
    • Once you're done, you can drag and drop the spec items in order using , then save using the

  2. Product worksheets are uploaded via the Files tab. Simply select English or Spanish from the dropdown, and upload the file using the Upload Data Sheet button.
  3. Product Work Sheet

  4. Classifications are product groupings. You can add your new product to any grouping of products on the site my adding them here.

Editing an Existing Product

To edit an existing product, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Product section by clicking the Product Inventory button and then searching for it using the
    Search Criteria box.
  2. Once there, click the pencil icon, , and add your edits following the steps from the Editing an Existing Marketers.
  3. When completed, click the Slug link to make sure your changes have been implemented.

Replacing Data Sheets

To replace an existing data sheet, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Product section by clicking the Product Inventory button and then searching for it using the
    Search Criteria box.
  2. Once there, click the pencil icon, , and select the Files tab.
  3. Be sure to delete the file you want to replace, first, then re-add following the steps from the Adding a Product section.
  4. When completed, click the Slug link to make sure your changes have been implemented.

Editing URLs (Slugs)

To replace an existing Data Sheet, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Product section by clicking the Product Inventory button and then searching for it using
    Search Criteria box.
  2. Once there, click the pencil icon, , and select the files tab.
  3. Click the pencil icon, , again and change the slug name. Click the checkmakr icon, , to save your changes.
  4. When completed, click the Slug link to make sure your changes have been implemented.

Replacing Images

To replace an existing image, first you want to log into the Phillips 66/Kendall CMS. Once in:

  1. Navigate to the Product section by clicking the Product Inventory button and then searching for it using
    Search Criteria box.
